!! the fifth ride of 2021 !!
Challenging times ask for creative approaches!
This time around – ride number 578 – we had to work under new mandatory guidance from the government:
- group size limited to five riders
- restaurants open, but max two people eating together.
Our hares did a marvellous job in finding flowy single-trails for us. Roots, slippery slopes and other technical challenges were aplenty. There even was a “black belt challenge”, which only the really skillful riders mastered. A light drizzle kept us form overheating.
Already during the ride, voices were heard shouting “ride of the year” and “we want some more”. Very well done Les Tares!
You did set very high standards for the rest of 2021.
Hopefully, restrictions will ease a little further anytime soon. Then we can get closer to the well-known and beloved format of Bike-Hashing in the Lion City.
Stay tuned for more and visit the “hareline” menu for updates about upcoming rides. Please complete the “join the club” form to make it onto our mailing list. For the time being all riders must pre-register, no “bike-ins” possible.
in the meantime, pedal hard and stay safe
(apparently an unwritten rule prohibits hashers to alter their hash name, however abbreviations are allowed)
